The boat was built in 1948 and was converted into a hotel in 2002. It is moored along the Schlachte, which has become a popular riverside path. Due to this central location, all of Bremens historic sights can be visited on foot. Even the congress centre is only a 30-minute walk or 7-minute drive away.
