Grand Hotel

The spa was lovely Beds where very comfortable

we ate in our room the first night and meat was under cooked after asking for it to be cooked well done Fruit salad consisted of only three fruits the melon was either hard or over ripe

Amazing location with opera house at the end of the street tram and underground stations outside We particularly liked the piano music in the rosegarten bar from 5pm every evening Our room was comforting after a long day exploring the city with excellent service throughout our stay

The only negative of our stay was our room view which over looked the shopping centre and not the beautiful street outside However in a hotel of this style and comfort this was a small compromise

Staffing the bar and restaurant were friendly

The first room we were provided with was terrible The concierge was non existent Took three Requests and reference to duty manager to fix TV channels

Breakfast buffet was amazing and service was impeccable

The stuffs s attitude is not friendly

the location was great staff very kind and attentive

the noise at the rooms that gives to the alley is terrible the windows must be soundproof it s really difficult to sleep

Rooms were modern and clean but lacked a little more atmosphere and the air con was not easily controlled

All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful Room was quiet and very well equipped extra large comfy bed Cocktails were delicious Lovely terrace enjoyed roof top drinks looking over the city Very good location between the port beach and central square

Spa and location

Staff not helpful as i requested to change my room on first day because it located in the ground floor next to main road and was very noisy and not comfortable but they just ignore me I requested also to clean my room every day before 1 0 PM also they ignore my requisite TV channels not working and i did ask front desk to fix it but once again they ignore me beside all that 5 star hotel without Air conditions was surprise for me frankly overall experience was very disappointed and not worth payment for 5 star
