With a long history in the city, the hotel has been completely refurbished in 2007/08 to form a modern apartment hotel, with 14 fully-equipped holiday homes within a historic building. Close to the centre of Salzburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the hotel also enjoys direct access to the citys public transport and features a car park for guests.
