Set in the Alpine village of Bischofswiesen, this modern hostel enjoys a scenic location in the Berchtesgadener Land region. A childrens playroom, lounge area and a wide range of outdoor activities are offered here.

Jugendherberge Berchtesgaden features brightly decorated rooms and dormitories with free WiFi. Shared bathroom facilities can be found in the hallway and some even include a balcony.

In accordance with government guidelines to minimise transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property can only accept bookings from essential workers/permitted travellers, during dates where such guidelines exist. Reasonable evidence must be provided on arrival. If it isnt provided, your booking will be cancelled on arrival. Guests staying at the Jugendherberge Berchtesgaden must be a member of the Deutschen Jugendherbergswerk. Temporary membership can be purchased on arrival at the property.

International guests without membership pay a surcharge of EUR 3.50 per night. German residents aged 26 or younger can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for EUR 7 per year, older guests and families pay EUR 22.50 per year.
