Unicornio Azul

More than 30 years ago, the Hotel Unicornio Azul gave life to an old wooden house from the 20th century built in 1910. Since 1986 it has offered accommodation, a restaurant, a bar, free private parking and a garden.

The Unicornio Azul Hotel is located on Avenida Pedro Montt on the waterfront and in front of the Fiordo de Castro. From the hotel, the historic center, the Plaza de Armas and the Church of San Francisco de Castro are 600 meters away. The bus station is 400 meters away and Mocopulli Airport 19 kilometers from the hotel.

If planes travel to Chaitn, our hotel is located just a few steps from the maritime government and the ferry crossing that travels to the mainland.

Six of its rooms include a balcony, the other rooms offer views of the garden. All the rooms at the Hotel Unicornio Azul de Castro are equipped with central heating, Wi-fi and TV. The bathroom is private and includes a shower, the hairdryer must be requested at reception. Please note that the rooms with sea views are located on the fourth floor and are only accessible via stairs. No lift for this rooms.

Please note that for tax exemption travellers must pay in US dollars and have to present the migration card they are given when they arrive to the country.

Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19% To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger wont be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately.
