Hotel du Louvre

PUBLIC AREAS ARE DESPERATELY IN NEED OF RENOVATION

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was awesome

nothing special

it is very old need renovation

Centrally located could pop in during the day for a rest between sights or meals

The location of this hotel is fantastic however overall it lacked the attention to detail you would expect for a 5 rating The staff especially the concierge were extremely helpful however on occasion we felt rushed to finish our drinks snacks by some staff at the terrace bar despite it not being overly busy The free wifi was a welcome feature

For a 5 hotel it would have been nice to have a complimentary bottle of water for each night stayed rather than the one provided at start of the stay The hotel would also benefit from having spa beauty facilities to help with the aches and pains from all the walking undertaken whilst taking in the sights I was also slightly surprised by the sharp increase in the bar tariff from the terrace bar to the bar lounge

Location was great and staff were great so helpful and friendly

Location view easy to walking around coffee shopping

Access to all the venues we wanted to go to was great Service by the staff was terrific

The meal in the restaurant was ordinary at best and way too expensive compared to other meals we had at cafes and restaurants close to the hotel

Staff was very friendly and accommodating Upon check in we were offered a temporary room until our room which the hotel upgraded was ready We had just flown in internationally and were very tired so it helped to be able to take a nap freshen up and store our luggage until our room was ready One block from the Louvre

Older hotel which has been renovated however carpet could stand to be replaced

We checked into the Hyatt Hotel du Louvre after our wedding It s a fantastic location the staff were very helpful friendly and professional We were given a bottle of wine a cheese selection and macaroons on arrival even though we arrived late at 11pm Full breakfast was included and it was very good with a wide selection of food and drinks The room was spacious with a sitting lounge room large and very comfortable bedroom and large bathroom The view from the balcony doors was also a notable feature

There was nothing we didn t like Absolutely without fault
