Lovely room with a very comfortable bed

Friendly personnel Location 10 mins walking distance to Catalunya La Rambla

Close to train station and fairly modern

Ask to have a late checkout as we had a international flight out in the evening Was initially told this would be fine The next day we confirmed and were then told this was not possible and offered no other solutions by the staff We were not happy and ended up having to book an additional hotel

Friendly staff good room size two beds as wished

It smelled two days on the floor which was not very nice The breakfast was ok but not comparable to breakfast buffets in 4 star hotels in France Austria or Germany

The Hotel location was not far from the City Center The Room was clean

The Staff are not very friendly and make you feel uncomfortable They NEVER offer help on their own I had to take my own bags upstairs the morning reception Lad didn t even care as he saw me take my own bags A Female staff in the breakfast Buffet has told my Wife when she took a couple of Napkins from the Napkin tray Why are you taking Napkins you already have 1 on your table and my wife had to explain to her that we have an infant with us and we simply need more napkins Very Rude Their Omelet was below standard Other Food was good no complaints there Morning Room service didn t vacuum the floor as I came back to the Room I still could see crumbs on the floor

Stayed here previously Ideal to stay a night or two when coming from airport Very convenient because it is near the railway station for onward journeys

Asked for drinks in the hotel in the evening and although there were reception they said they had a big function on and had no one to serve drinks Rather disappointing as we were celebrating our fiftieth wedding anniversary Would say though that we hadn t had this problem before

Location was not bad Half of the staff are good

Half of the staff know nothing about customer care We arrived 1 pm one hour before check in time and they didn t make our room ready until 2 30 Additionally we are 2 adults and 2 children 5 years and 7 years The room i booked was for 2 adults only since there wasn t any other rooms availability The receptionist told me it is illegal to have 4 people in room of 2 people I asked him what is the solution for this He told me I m enforced to get an extra bed in the room i told him that i don t want the extra bed then he started lecturing me that he and his hotel administration do not allow this since it is illegal to exceed the maximum number of people per room And the solution to this is to get an extra bed with 38 Euros I looked in the hotel policy but i couldn t see anywhere mentions that it is illegal to exceed the maximum number of people
