This resort is located on the northern shore of Koh Samui. The establishment is not far from the main nightlife and shopping areas in Chaweng and guests will find a range of restaurants, bars and pubs within around 50 metres of the establishment. The nearest public transport link is right by the hotel and the local beach is approximately 500 metres away. Nearby attractions include Fisherman's Village and the Big Buddha, which are roughly 2 km and 4 km away respectively. The centre of Maenam is around 10 minutes' walk away, the centre of Chaweng is roughly 6 km away, and Samui Airport is approximately 7 km from the accommodation.

This resort has been designed in typical Thai style and comprises a range of bungalows set in an exotic garden area on the quiet hillside of Maenam. Renovated in 2008, the establishment comprises a total of 35 accommodation units. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with a hotel safe and currency exchange facilities. On-site facilities include a caf, a restaurant, WLAN Internet access and room and laundry services. Guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park, and those wishing to explore the local surroundings can hire bikes from reception.

All bungalows are built in the typical Thai style of wood and bamboo. They all come with king-size beds, satellite/cable TV, individually regulated air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with hot and cold running water. A lounge, a desk and a minibar also come as standard. Additional facilities available include Internet access and a balcony or terrace. The Tropic Club bungalows even feature complimentary soft drinks from the minibar, as well as DVD players, aromatherapy sets and much more.
