The hotel appears to have changed ownership since previous visit the rooms have been dumbed down and there was a cheaper corporate feel to them eg linens towels toiletries and extras not as before plus Apple TV and iPod docks have all gone and the room has not worn well

Arrived to find I d been upgraded nice surprise Lovely spacious room fabulous view of London Bed was very comfortable Room immaculately clean Very handy location liked the fact that Sainsbury s was just opposite and open until late Close to a good selection of restaurants
Some noise supercars racing in the early hours from the street Is it possible to further soundproof the windows This didn t spoil my stay overall though will definitely consider booking again

Check in reception is part of the cafe on the ground floor there is only one terminal and one member of staff to check in hence the process is slow when 4 or 5 rooms have to be checked in as when we arrived The superior room only has a shower with a fixed head and sound insulation between rooms is poor so much so that we were kept awake with some hanky panky which was clearly going on in the next room
