Japanese-style spa hotel Yamamizuki is a 20-minute drive from the Nabegataki Waterfall, and its located close to a 2-hour walking route through nature. JR Aso Train Station is a 40-minute drive.

Guests can unwind in an outdoor or indoor public hot spring bath, or reserve one for private use. The hotel offers a free pick-up from bus stop Kurokawa Onsen.

Rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, a low table with seating cushions and sliding shoji paper screens that open to a seating area with chairs and a coffee table. They come with an LCD TV, a safe and a fridge. Yukata robes are provided, and Japanese futon bedding is spread on the floor.

A Japanese breakfast and a kaiseki traditional multi-course dinner are served at the dining room. Please inform Yamamizuki in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests must check in by 18:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the propertys public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.
