Yosemite Valley Lodge

The hotel is the closest property to Yosemite Falls. It is located in Yosemite Valley, a convenient location for visitors interested in hiking Half Dome, Glacier Point or one of the many trails originating near the lodge. The hotel was built in 1915 and modernised in 1956 and then again in 1998. The year-round complex places an emphasis on glass, wood and landscaping of indigenous trees, shrubs and wildflowers that harmoniously blend with the natural beauty of the Yosemite Valley. The location of the hotel is the reason it is one of the most sought-after places to find reservations in and around Yosemite National Park. Guests may sip their favourite drink at the bar. The hotel rooms do not offer amenities such as televisions or air conditioning. Nearly every seat in the Mountain Room Restaurant has an outstanding view of the 740-metre-high Yosemite Falls.
