The Chequers Inn

The Chequers is a 14th-century coaching inn located in the picturesque Kent village of Smarden. Bedrooms feature exposed wooden beams and the candlelit restaurant serves fine British cuisine.

Wednesday to Saturday prices include, dinner, bed and breakfast. Sunday price includes Lunch, bed and breakfast. Sides and drinks are not included in the price.

The cosy bar has a real fireplace and a menu that changes with the seasons. Roast dinners are served on Sundays, and there is an outside eating area, which leads to the large garden and duck pond.
