Saj Vagamon Hideout

Sitting 3000 feet above sea level up in the majestic Western Ghats, Saj Vagamon Hideout offers cosy eco-friendly cottages built with local materials. Local tribal dishes are prepared using ingredients from the resorts own organic vegetable garden.

Built from either mud or stone, all cottages feature thatched roofs and wooden furnishings. Guests can enjoy cool mountain air and amazing scenery from the private balcony. The private bathroom has a shower.

Saj Vagamon Hideout is located in Vagamon, Kerala, about an hours drive from Kottayam Town. It is about 20 km from Idukki City, 30.5 km from Thekkady City and 34 km from Sabarimala Temple. Kochi Cochin International Airport is 77 km away.

At the on-site restaurant, traditional Kerala dishes are served in earthern pots. Home-made cookies and bread, as well as local tea, can be enjoyed there.
