Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatn Country Hotel. The seasonal restaurant offers Icelandic dishes and international dishes, as well as a breakfast buffet.

All rooms have free WiFi, mini-fridge, microwave, and a seating area with flat-screen satellite TV. You can enjoy a view of the mountains and river from all the rooms. All rooms come with a private bathroom, shower and towels. Guests have access to the kitchen facilities.

At Fossatn Country Hotel you have access to hot tubs with natural hot spring water, as well as barbecue facilities. Guests can select a vintage record to play in the dining room.

Various hiking trails can be enjoyed in the surroundings including Troll and Folktale walks. The hotel is 20 km from Borgarnes town centre. Snfellsnes Peninsula and Thingvellir National Park are about an hours drive away. The property has a strict non-smoking policy. Violation of the non-smoking policy will be subject to an additional fine of EUR 250.
