Happy House Hostel, An Oasis in the heart of Santiago.

Located in Moneda Street in the middle of the historic part of the city and just steps from government palace, main square and the main tourist attractions of Santiago. We are located two blocks north of the subway station Metro Los Heroes (Line 1). Happy House is a comfortable hostel in a 20-century mansion, only 2 blocks away from Los Heroes Metro Station. It offers guided tours to Concha and Toro Winery, and an outdoor pool.

Guests at Happy House Hostel can enjoy a massage at the spa, or unwind with a drink the furnished central courtyard and garden terrace. A games room with table tennis and billiards is available.

Happy House offers both dormitories and private rooms with shared or en suite bathrooms. All are decorated with wooden floors and country style dcor, and have free Wi-Fi.

A breakfast buffet with fresh fruits and pastries is available, and guests can use the kitchen facilities. Due to its central location on Moneda Street Happy House is surrounded by several restaurants.

Happy House Hostel is situated in Santiagos historic city centre, 12-blocks from Plaza De Armas, and 13 km from Arturo Merino Benitez Airport. LOCAL TAX LAW Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger wont be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.
