Somewhere to Stay Backpackers is a unique resort style Queenslander house with gardens, large pool and cool verandas for you to relax on, chill out, enjoy your meal or a drink and take in the BEST city views in Brisbane!!! The pool and garden areas offer lounge chairs, hammocks, outdoor games and last but not least... the warm Queensland sun.

We are a 5 min walk from the coolest cultural district of Brisbane - West End - including 100s cafes, cheap restaurants, bars and clubs.

We have a variety of clean comfortable rooms and provide free Wi-Fi, free coffee & tea, free local shuttle bus (Subject to availability). Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Parking is subject to availability due to limited spaces. Please inform Somewhere To Stay Backpackers in advance of your expected arrival time. It is not possible to stay at this property for Coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine purposes. This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise.

Bookings for greater than 14 days need to be approved prior or may be refused. Different policies apply to bookings of 15 days or more.

Group bookings (6+ people) need to be approved prior or may be refused. Different policies and fees apply to group bookings.

Guests are required to show valid Government issued photo identification and credit card upon check-in.

Persons wishing to stay in the backpacking dormitory accommodation are required to have with them, a full sized travellers backpack and a passport.

A deposit of AUD $20 per guest is required on arrival. You can be reimbursed on check-out, subject to an inspection of the property.
