The Clarendon Hotel

The Clarendon Hotel is a family run business located opposite Deal pier making it an ideal location for seaside lovers, families and those looking for a relaxing escape from the city.

Rooms are well equipped, each with a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, a work area and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Some guest rooms have views of the coastline and the shores of France on a clear day.

There is free Wi-Fi access in the hotels public areas.

Guests are just a 5-minute walk from central Deals rail station and a range of shops, bars and restaurants. Deal pier is moments away on foot.

2 golf courses are within 15 minutes drive.

We have both sea view and non sea view rooms and suites available to book. All rooms are well equipped with flat-screen TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, desks, fridges and a private en-suite bathroom facility. All rooms also have a travel iron/ironing board and a hair dryer provided.

We do not offer breakfast, but provide complimentary items for the duration of your stay and all staff are more than happy to provide recommendations of local establishments that offer great food to suite all diet types and lifestyle choices.

We are located within 15 minutes drive from two prestigious golf courses and have a good network of public transport with bus stops and Deal train-station located within a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Please note that we do not provide hotel parking but are happy to offer suggestions for paid and un-paid parking nearby the property. Please inform The Clarendon Hotel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The Bernadette suite is wheelchair friendly and on ground level, it is not fully disabled friendly but we are working towards this. Due to the nature of the building, we ask those with limited ability or who struggle to climb stairs to contact us so we can ensure we allocate you to a room that is suited to your needs. As per the propertys policy, we will charge all bookings 48 hrs prior to your check in, using the card details we have been provided (unless payment was during the booking process.). We have the right to cancel any booking if we are unable to recover funds for your booking during this 48hr window.

Guest check in is between 15:00-22:00, however, reception is only staffed until 18:00. We ask guests to inform us of any check ins after 18:00 so we are able to ensure a member of staff is on site to greet you and check you into your room as well as provide further information for your stay.
