Alpengasthof Almrose im Heutal offers a very quiet and idyllic location in Unken at 1,000 metres above sea level, amidst a nature reserve in the Salzburg Saalachtal Valley.

All comfortable rooms are very bright, furnished in a traditional country-house style and feature a balcony with beautiful views.

Enjoy a wide variety of regional and international dishes at the restaurant. A wonderful sun terrace offering views of the surrounding mountains is available in fair weather. The weekly barbecue evenings and musical events are also held there.

Popular destinations for excursions in the surrounding area include Lake Knigssee, Berchtesgaden and Bad Reichenhall.
