Bischofhtten

Over 1500 metres high up in the Carinthian Mountains, this self-catering, log cabin-style guesthouse is set in the centre of the Klippitztrl ski resort. It offers wooden interiors, home-grown farm produce and live farm animals.

Each 5-bedroom chalet at the Bischofhtten includes a living room with satellite TV, a cosy fireplace, and private sauna.

In the summer months, an active summer programme is organised, including fishing, horse riding, climbing and butter making.

All chalets include a kitchen with a fridge and tea/coffee maker. Barbecue facilities can be enjoyed outside on the terrace. Farm produce, such as milk, salami, cider and schnapps, is available.

The surrounding countryside is a vehicle-free zone, ideal for nature walks and cycling. Parking facilities are a 15-minute walk away and a luggage transport service is offered.
