Edelweiss Lodge

First opened in 1957, Edelweiss Lodge is situated in a quiet section known as Old Mammoth on the towns free bus route. It offers pet-friendly suites and cabins featuring 1950s charm with modern conveniences such as free WiFi. Mammoth Mountain ski area is 2 miles away.

A fully equipped kitchen and a wood burning fireplace are included in each accommodation at Edelweiss Lodge. Accommodations provide a cable TV and a DVD player.

Upon arrival guests receive home baked cookies. The lodge also offers dogs their own welcome basket with treats.

Snowcreek Golf Course is 3 minutes drive from Edelweiss Lodge. Mammoth Creek Park is 1 mile away. Shopping and dining options are less than 5 minutes drive away. Please inform Edelweiss Lodge in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year.
