This hotel treated us just in a Royal way We came to London to celebrate my wife s birthday we booked a double room at The Royal Horseguards through the booking com and we were so excited by their attitude to our special occasion First of all they have have precisely fulfilled all special requests a bottle of champagne flowers in the room the bouquet was beautiful all on a very short notice But the main surprise was that they gave us a free upgrade to their Tower Suite Staying in this two floor 270degrees panorama suite is worth of a separate visit to London itself This hotel is a real historical and cultural landmark the building is just magnificent It s location architecture interior and genuine British spirit makes staying in this hotel a unique experience We would like to send our special thanks to James who enabled all this perfect experience and who was very professional super friendly and attentive We enjoyed every second of staying there and we highly recommend it to all travellers

Good location and price Quiet room 3rd floor

Room hadn t been used in some time hair in bath and dust all over the TV several things in the room that did not work lights in bathroom mirror light etc heating was only set to 10 c when we arrived in the room etc In the room we had 3rd floor the mattresses are very old and the double bed is two singles impossible to sleep in the middle Wifi doesn t work very well on the 3rd floor Even though we are aware we booked a special promotional price we were expecting more from a 4 star hotel

Old hotel very poorly maintained My first had a leak from ceiling they made me change room in the middle of the night they appologized and promised they will do better next time I gave them benefit of the doubt I showed them the rate from booking com they couldn t match it and basically all they offered was a 20 discount on breakfast for all the trouble I had I expected better from a so called 5star hotel I booked on my own went there all I wanted was a clean and quiet room I get a broken toilet seat was about to fell Disaster really and with all this they didn t even offer breakfast or anything Management should change for sure it s not a nice way to treat clients

The hotel specifically advertises Royal Bar which turns out to be a fridge with cans of beer There was an unpleasant odour in the corridor and on awaking felt like I d spent the night in a smokey atmosphere even though it is non smoking throuhout The Room 315 was very dim even on a bright sunny day the wallcovering was peeling away in places After taking a shower the water in the bath took 20 mins to drain away I took a peep into the adjoining room whilst it was being serviced same size as mine and it looked more modernised and cleaner Sorry but at over 200 per night I expected just that little more

I found the room dated not very clean fitted furniture hanging off the wall and a smell coming from the toilet drain I can t see how this hotel is rated as four star Possibly two star and that s pushing it

The Hotel is in the Heart of the city If you love to shop and roam around the city then this is the hotel you should stay Breakfast is ok Not much options if you don t eat Pork Staffs were very helpful and cooperative
