The room was a bit warm for me

Excellent location Close to West end theatres Lots of good restaurants nearby No noise from the street Wi fi worked ok

Could hear people s voices from the neighbouring room

Housekeeping very helpful when i needed an iron Breakfast good lots of choice

Reception staff unfriendly Told when booking in room was a small double No indication on line it was a small double Offered upgrade when booking in but subsequently none available Room suitable for single person only no bedside table partner had to climb over to get in and out Workmen right outside the window on scaffolding drillling and banging so had to keep shutters closed Room not suitable for purpose All the above mentioned did not represent value for money at 200 per night At no time were we given prior warning and an opportunity to upgrade in advance if this was the case we would have done so

Room service breakfast was poor but deducted from bill which was good

Hotel staff not interested no one asked if we were happy On3rd floor with no lift and no offer of assistance So hot throughout hotel and very uncomfortable despite useless air condioning small fan in room which was small stuffy Net curtains in room landings filthy Bed ok bathroom ok but tiny Breakfast had to ask 3 times for fruit juice only one girl serving No cups or glasses to hand breakfast quite poor quality Will not return

I have always enjoyed staying at The Strand Palace due to it s excellent location Despite its location I have always enjoyed a good night s sleep The breakfast is good with plenty of choice and I enjoyed evenings in the Nook Sports Bar with very reasonably priced Peroni

The shower control was v stiff and took a lot of turning

Bed more comfortable and a mini bar would be nice too

The receptionist was very chatty and extremely helpful especially with her local knowledge of the area

The only disappointment was that there was no lift

Evrithing is fine
