Selina Magnetic Island showcases open-air building designs and communal spaces for guests. The accommodation is located in the heart of Horseshoe Bay, 4-minute walk from Horseshoe Bay beach, nearby many island activities and walking trails through the national park to beaches offering snorkelling.

Guests can find an outdoor deck bar serving food and drinks overlooking the resort pool. Other amenities include free WiFi at the deck bar, shared kitchen and coin laundry facilities.

Daily wildlife tours are conducted on site with onsite rangers offering an educational experience with Australian wildlife at Selina Magnetic Island. Free bird feeding daily is offered.

The tour desk provide Magnetic Island maps, help book Great Barrier Reef tours, Museum of Underwater Art diving and snorkelling trips and local tours experiencing the fringing reef and land based adventures.

Selina Magnetic Island is 25 minutes from Townsville by Sealink QLD fast catamaran. Guests bring their own vehicle on Magnetic Island ferries. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Selina Magnetic Island in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Reservations for 5 rooms or more for the same dates, are considered group reservations and different payment and cancellations conditions will apply.

Group Payment and Cancellation Policy:

50% guarantee deposit of the total amount of the stay to guarantee the rooms must be paid at the reservation moment. This deposit is non-refundable.

50% of the group must be paid up to 15 days before the arrival date. This deposit is non-refundable.

The hotel will contact the potential customer and remind them that the 50% deposit is due 15 days in advance. If the payment is not received, we will notify in writing that we will hold the booking for an additional 48 hours and if it is not received, the booking will be canceled 10 days prior to arrival.

Please note that all guests must be 18 years of age or older. All guests staying in dorms should provide us Passport as ID.

For guests staying in dormitories, there is a fee of 6 AUD per towel.
