Alpenhotel Garfrescha

Due to the special location of the T3 Alpenhotel Garfrescha make sure that you have read the arrival information before making a reservation.

Surrounded by the Montafon Mountains and only reachable via a chair lift in winter, while in summer only via a street in broad daylight, T3 Alpenhotel Garfrescha is located at 1,500 metres above sea level next to the ski slopes and hiking trails, offering ski-to-door access.

All rooms at the Garfrescha have a bathroom and a TV, and some have a balcony.

The restaurant has a winter garden and serves traditional Vorarlberg cuisine during the day, while guests can have a dinner menu with the half-board option.

Activities such as hiking, mountain biking and Nordic walking start at T3 Alpenhotel Garfreschas front door. This property is accessible via an unpaved road, which may be unsuitable for some vehicles. Please note the following information about access to the property:

In summer: The hotel has a private access road. Parking is available at the hotel at an additional cost. Alternatively, guests can use the free parking spaces next to the Garfrescha lift station and use the chair lift to reach the hotel. Please note that in the dark, the road becomes too dangerous. Please make sure to reach the property before sunset.

Please note that there are not enough parking spaces for all guests on the mountain. Parking spaces are assigned on a first come first served basis. You can always drive up to the hotel to unload and load luggage, but you may have to park in the valley. Therefore the latest check-in time is set for 15:30 to allow guests time to drive their car back down to the valley and take the chair lift to the property.

In winter: The hotel can only be reached by the Gafrescha chair lift at a surcharge. From the upper terminus, it is a short walk to reach the property. Please note that the last run of the chair lift is at 16:15. It is not possible to reach the property after 16:15 with the chair lift. The property will send you an e-mail after booking with detailed instructions, also regarding the transportation of your luggage.

Please note that the restaurant does not serve la carte in the evening. A dinner menu for half-board is available.
